Yes, you will need to be available during your design intensive. You don’t need to be sitting next to your computer all day, but you’ll want to make sure you have your phone nearby to respond quickly if any questions or feedback requests arise.

We design in both squarespace and Kajabi for its ease-of-use upon handoff. We believe that you should have full control over making website updates for as long as you’re in business!

Squarespace is a drag-and-drop builder that’s great for landing pages. We typically recommend this platform for service providers, coaches & business owners that need simple sales page solutions, are new to business and don’t need all the fancy extras of Kajabi.

Kajabi is for coaches/course creators ready to invest in an all-in-one marketing platform and learning management system. On Kajabi you can design websites, send marketing emails, host your courses, set up checkout pages, and so much more! Yes, you will need to pay for a Squarespace or Kajabi subscription, as well as your domain. Squarespace plans start at X/month. Kajabi plans start at X/month. Domains start at X/month.

With an international family (split between the US, UK & Asia), a remote business, and clients worldwide — my timezone sometimes changes throughout the year. I can accommodate US, UK & AUS time zones, but sometimes this means meeting in the evenings/early mornings. Please keep this in mind before booking your project!

We do! We automatically offer a 4-month payment plan for our two-week design intensive, as we know this is a big & exciting investment in your business. Our hope is to take the financial pressure off you as much as possible! 

We require at least 2 weeks in advance to allow enough time to gather content for your website and complete all the prep work leading up to your design week.

Please note: we only offer a handful of design intensives per month, so our next available start date might be a few weeks/months in advance. If you have a tight deadline, be sure to check with us before you book! We will do what we can to get you squeezed into our schedule and accommodate your launch date!

We typically recommend having solid branding from the start, however, we know that its not a requirement for all businesses. Website in a week is designed to give you colors, fonts and a basic wordmark to get your website up & running in no time. Voxer is a cool walkie-talkie-type app that we will use for communication during your Design Week. It allows for quick communication back-and-forth so we don’t miss a beat!

Yes! If you are wanting a larger, more intensive website design project, then click here to apply for a custom project. Please keep in mind that turn around times range between 2-3 months and the starting investment is more than Website in a Week.

Website in a week does not include copy written for you. We do, however, provide you with a website copywriting guide to help you finetune your marketing message and write the copy on your website. If you’d like your website copy written for you, we offer VIP Days for $1500 that can be catered to this need.
